Control Ainexa Agent with your voice using speech recognition

Voice Input

Speak to Ainexa instead of typing. Voice input uses your browser's built-in speech recognition to convert your speech to text.

How to Use

  1. Click the microphone icon in the chat input area
  2. Speak your request clearly
  3. The AI processes your speech and responds

Browser Support

Voice input uses the Web Speech API. Support varies by browser:

Tips for Better Recognition

Speak Clearly

  • Use a normal speaking pace
  • Pronounce token names clearly
  • Pause briefly between numbers and words

Environment

  • Minimize background noise
  • Position microphone appropriately
  • Quiet environments work best

Crypto Terminology

The recognition handles common crypto terms:

  • Token names: "Bitcoin", "Ethereum", "Solana"
  • Symbols: "BTC", "ETH", "USDC" (spell out letters)
  • Actions: "swap", "send", "stake", "bridge"
  • Numbers: Speaks naturally ("one hundred" or "100")

Handling Addresses

For wallet addresses, you have options:

  1. Use contacts: "Send to Alice" (if Alice is in your contacts)
  2. Use ENS/domains: "Send to vitalik.eth"
  3. Paste after speaking: Say "Send 10 USDC to" then paste the address
  4. Spell out: For short addresses or when necessary

Language Support

Speech recognition supports multiple languages based on your browser and system settings. The AI can understand requests in:

  • English (primary)
  • Other languages (based on browser locale)

Troubleshooting

Microphone not working

  1. Check browser permissions for microphone access
  2. Ensure your microphone is not muted
  3. Try refreshing the page
  4. Check system audio settings

Recognition errors

  • Speak more slowly
  • Repeat the request
  • Try alternative phrasing
  • Use text input for complex addresses

Browser issues

  • Update your browser to the latest version
  • Try a different browser (Chrome recommended)
