Contacts
Save wallet addresses with friendly names for quick and safe transfers. Your contact list works across all supported blockchain networks.
Address Book
Store frequently used addresses to:
- Avoid typing long addresses
- Reduce transfer errors
- Speed up common transactions
- Organize recipients by name
Adding Contacts
From Settings
- Navigate to Contacts/Address Book
- Click "Add Contact"
- Enter:
- Name: Friendly identifier (e.g., "Alice", "Hardware Wallet")
- Address: Wallet address
- Network: Which blockchain (optional - can auto-detect)
- Save contact
Via Chat
You: Save 0x742d35Cc6634C0532925a3b844Bc9e7595f... as "Trading Wallet"
AI: Contact saved!
Name: Trading Wallet
Address: 0x742d...
Network: Ethereum/EVMAfter Sending
After a successful transfer, Ainexa may prompt: "Would you like to save this address?"
Multi-Chain Contacts
Contacts can have addresses on multiple networks:

Sending to Contacts
Instead of pasting addresses:
You: Send 100 USDC to Alice

Network: Ethereum

If a contact has multiple addresses, the AI:
- Uses the network matching your token
- Asks if multiple options exist
You: Send 50 USDC to Alice
AI: Alice has addresses on multiple networks.
Send 50 USDC to:

Verification
When sending to a contact, Ainexa shows:
- Contact name
- Full address (or abbreviated with confirmation)
- Network
- Amount
New Address Warning
If you send to an address not in contacts, you'll see: "This address is not in your contacts. Save for future use?"
Similar Name Detection
If you type a name close to an existing contact: "Did you mean 'Alice' instead of 'Alicee'?"
Tips
- Use descriptive names: "CEX Withdrawal", "Cold Storage", "Mom"
- Organize by purpose: Trading wallets, personal, exchanges
- Verify after adding: Send a small test amount first
- Keep updated: Remove old addresses you no longer use
- Use domains: For NEAR (.near) and ENS (.eth), save the domain name
Syncing
Your contacts are:
- Stored securely with your account
- Available across devices when logged in
- Private to your account only
